Real wasn't started by recruiters. It was started by an operator running a sales organization who needed people who could actually do the work — and couldn't find them anywhere. The founder is still running that sales organization today. The recruiting business grew up around it.

The story

Built from the inside.

Real started in 2010 as the in-house recruiting team for a sales organization that was hiring faster than it could keep up. The mandate was simple: find people who can actually do the work. No deck, no theory, no vendor relationship — just an operator hiring for his own teams.

Other operators noticed. They asked if Real could recruit for them too. The answer was yes, and one client became three, and three became thirty. Fifteen years later Real runs a national operation across the verticals where field sales drives growth, with more than a hundred recruiters across the country.

The founder is still running a sales organization. That's not background. It's the reason Real recruits the way it does.

What that means in practice

    We screen for the work, not for the resume.

    A polished resume doesn't tell us whether someone can sit on a kitchen table at 7pm and close a roof. We screen for what the job actually demands — patience, presence, the ability to handle a no without losing the next yes — because that's what the operator on the other side of the call needs.

    We track who stays, not who starts.

    Most agencies report on hires. We report on retention at 30, 60, and 90 days, because that's the only number that matters to the team paying our invoice. If a recruiter sends candidates who don't stay, we know within weeks. We adjust. The number doesn't fix itself.

    We don't pretend to understand your business in week one.

    We listen. We ask. We watch your hiring managers work for the first month. By the time we're sourcing seriously, we know what good looks like to you specifically — not what it looks like in our sales pitch. That's slower up front and faster forever after.

Headquartered in Georgia. Working everywhere.

Real is based in Roswell, Georgia. Our recruiters work across the country — coast to coast, fifty states, in every market where field sales talent is hired and managed. We recruit for sales organizations of every size, from regional teams running a single market to national brands hiring across dozens of states at once. The work is the same; only the volume changes.

They didn't sell us. They asked questions for forty-five minutes about how our team works. Then they sent us three candidates and we hired two. That's the entire story of working with Real.
